Fatou Sakho is a licensed social worker, independent clinical associate (SC 60979293). She has 3 years of training in psychotherapeutic interventions from the University of Washington, where she acquired a Masters in Social Work. With a Bachelors in Sociology, she is passionately driven to make a positive impact in people's lives. She approaches each person as a unique individual to help them tailor their strengths in the best way possible. She is tuned to the unique needs of each individual.
Ms. Sakho is trained to work with adults suffering from mood disorders, anxiety, substance abuse, domestic violence and interpersonal difficulties. She also specializes in working with multicultural families and immigrant populations challenged with assimilation and other issues.
Originally from West Africa, Ms. Sakho enjoys working with adults from a wide variety of social and cultural backgrounds. She is fluent in English, French, Wolof and Soninke. (And a few others you have never heard of:) Ms. Sakho is passionate about helping clients remove barriers to their personal goals and appreciates seeing her clients progress in their own unique ways.
In her free time, Ms. Sakho loves to travel, hike and cook. She enjoys creating new dishes and sampling foods from around the world. As an avid nature lover, she takes time off to explore the many beautiful hiking trails in Washington State.
